Dear Parents,
This is a reminder about the upcoming field trip to Hendy Woods on Thursday, March 27. Please ensure that your child wears tennis shoes or hiking shoes, as there will be a significant amount of walking involved. We also recommend dressing in layers in case the weather changes.
Water bottles will be provided for students who ordered lunch from the cafeteria. If your child is not ordering lunch, please remember to send a water bottle with them.
Students will be dropped off at the City Park at 2:30 PM. Please note that this will be the only drop-off location on Thursday.

We want to remind you that there will be no school tomorrow, February 14, or Monday, February 17, in observance of Presidents' Day. We hope you all enjoy this four-day weekend with family and friends.
On Wednesday, February 19, kindergarten, 2nd-grade, and 5th-grade classes, and anyone new to school, will undergo a hearing screening, and the 1st-grade boys will have a vision test.

Good evening Sherwood Families. Tomorrow is our Field Trip to the Fish Hatchery. In order to arrive by 9:00, which is when the tour starts, we will need you to drop students off at the city park between 8:15 and 8:30 on Friday morning. The bus will leave the city park at 8:30 a.m. and arrive at the Hatchery at 9:00. We advise students to eat a nice breakfast that morning, brunch might be a little later than normal. Students should dress warm, wear good walking shoes, and bring a water bottle. Students will arrive back at Sherwood School by 12:00 p.m. Students will have normal afternoon bus drop-off.
