Hello Parents/Guardians. As you may be aware, the state issued updated guidance for masking in schools yesterday. We are working with Public Health and our labor partners to discuss how to best implement this new guidance. We anticipate having a full update for our policy next week. Starting tomorrow, February 1, 2022, masks are optional in outdoor settings on all Willits Unified School District campuses. Mask requirements per Public Health will still be followed. Also, Baechtel Creek Medical Clinic has open appointments for COVID vaccinations for children 5 and older. Appointments are scheduled by calling (707) 459-6861. WUSD Families, We are putting great efforts into keeping our students moving forward through this current surge. The linked plan outlines these measures. If we have to close a classroom or a school, we are trying to do so for the minimum number of days that will make a difference. We realize the impact this will have on families and do not take this decision lightly. Please see the attached adjusted quarantine and isolation orders from Public Health.

Hello WUSD Parents. Due to staff illness, we do not have enough bus drivers to complete our bus routes as we normally would. January 4th and 5th will be affected at this time. We will be using some vans in addition to buses to transport students. Your student may arrive earlier or later than their normal drop off time. Pick up times should not be affected. Thank you for your understanding.

iHome Test Kits will be available from 10am to 1pm tomorrow at Brookside Elementary School for parents to pick up if they wish. Please remember these tests are optional, NOT mandatory, to return to school Tuesday.

Ukiah Unified is giving away ham dinners to anyone with a child 18 or under today until 4.
